Welcome to Blu Haus Blooms, our slice of heaven in Lime Ridge, WI! We’re Cindy and Dean Johnson, and we’re thrilled to share our passion for growing thousands of beautiful, regeneratively farmed flowers and raising bees on our small farm in the stunning Driftless Region.

Our journey to this 4.8-acre farm began after years of city living, moving from Milwaukee to Wisconsin Rapids, then Madison and eventually Lime Ridge! We craved a place to dig in the soil, build bonfires, and gather friends and family – something our city homes lacked.

Cindy stumbled upon this somewhat ramshackle farm in 2020. Our first act of “agriculture” was a kitchen garden, but soon after, we decided to try our hand at flowers. And is there any crop more beautiful? Now, thousands of peonies, dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers, lisianthus and many more blooms flourish here from late May through late September.

There’s magic to this land. We’ve even discovered the Johnson surname has been on the deed for decades – a fitting connection! The welcoming community of Lime Ridge and the undeniable beauty of the Driftless Region, with its gentle hills and changing seasons, continually inspire us. We’re committed to being excellent stewards, embracing regenerative farming practices and learning from our organic farming neighbors.

This is our Lime Ridge journey so far, and we’re incredibly grateful to be here, working the land and connecting with this wonderful region.

We can’t wait to show you our farm during the Hill and Valley Tour. Depending on weather and the condition of flowers, we’ll open our field for a “You Pick” option, and we’ll have honey and several other farm-related items for sale that you can bring home or tuck away for presents!
