Narrows Valley Supply

After Mary moved to Wisconsin, she started farming by growing organic heritage grains. However, she wanted to move away from aggressively tilling the soil for weed control. After cropping, Mary and Rob started with a few organic chickens, a rescue horse and goats with a penchant for escaping. After hearing about rotational grazing at an organic conference in winter of 2018, things fell into place and Mary and Rob bought a herd of Belted Galloway’s who needed a place to live immediately. This winter hardy breed was perfect for their 24-acre organically certified pasture atop a ridge in Plain, Wisconsin.

Redstone Valley Farm

Redstone Valley Farm is a small farm tucked away among the bluffs of Wisconsin’s Coulee Region. We strive for sustainability and enjoy every bit of this hobby farm! We have grass fed beef, fresh eggs, chicken, pork, and a variety of produce every year!

Branding Iron Roadhouse Farm-to-Fork Eatery

The Branding Iron is a true farm-to-fork restaurant serving delicious food, cooked to order, and made from locally grown Fearing Angus beef and other locally produced products. Your traditional Wisconsin Friday Night Fish Fry comes hot from the fryer to your plate, and, if you want a medium-rare burger, just ask!

Bula’s Pleasant Valley Farm

We are Ron and Maureen Bula from Bula's Pleasant Valley Farm. We have been committed to sustainably raising healthier food since we purchased a farm, set in the Baraboo bluffs, back in 1993. As our family began to grow we wanted to supply it with the best and healthiest food we could and in a way that helped to improve the environment. Little did we know how a farm consisting of a garden and a few cattle would grow and diversify over time.

Carr Valley Cheese

Nestled amongst the rolling hills and lush pastures of central Wisconsin, Carr Valley Cheese remains a staple of Wisconsin cheesemaking tradition. Stop by our retail store and try any one of our over 100 varieties of cheese; you will be greeted with a warm smile and a staff eager to answer all your cheese related questions!

Country Junk

Dan and Shari Stolte live on a 4th generation farm on the corner of Narrows Creek and Narrows Valley Road. We are happy and excited to be part of the Hill and Valley Tour. We enjoy gardening, crafting and collecting. People have said our salsa and spaghetti sauce needed to be shared, so we are opening our summer kitchen and greenhouse for everyone to come and visit. Come visit and enjoy what we have to offer.

Country Roots Corn Maze & Market

Reid and Heather Broughton are 5th generation farmers living between Loganville and Hillpoint Wisconsin. They have three small children that help farm alongside them each day. As parents, they take great pride and joy sharing and teaching the next generation about hard work, as well as ethical and sustainable farming practices.

Ernest Hupeden’s Painted Forest

Between 1899 and 1902, Ernest Hupeden, a German folk painter, covered the complete interior of Valton’s Modern Woodmen of America meeting hall with vivid, imaginative scenes presenting the vision and aspirations of this fraternal society. Edgewood College maintains this restored folk art treasure, fostering its educational role through programs open to the general public.

Glory & Grace Flower Farm is poised to provide a captivating floral experience, featuring freshly cut flowers available through our farm stand, U-pick events, and expertly crafted pre-made bouquets.

The Greener Grass Collective at Idaho Valley Farm

The Greener Grass Collective at Idaho Valley Farm is a small family operation in its fifth generation here in The Greater Lime Ridge Area of Sauk County. We’ve evolved over the years from dairy to a grass based rotational grazing operation and our aim is to produce the very best grass fed beef, chicken, and heritage breed pastured pork as well as hazelnuts, cherries, apples, pears, farm made goods and more.

Jasper Apple Farm

Currently, we offer 24 varieties of apples and peaches, pears, and plums. We begin harvesting mid-August and harvest until mid-October.

Mead-King

Birth of the Mead King You might be wondering how this all got started. Well, as with most things, good friends and alcohol were involved! I took a mead brewing class from my friend Bo, back in 2009. He convinced me that I should buy some supplies to “practice with” (about $150 worth). By the time my first batch was complete, I was entranced with this magical elixir. You could say it was love at first sip!

Narrows Creek Garden

Narrows Creek Garden is a 3rd generation family farm operated by Sandy and Melvin Smith. We are focusing on growing Aronia berries, an emerging ‘super fruit’ that may aid in fighting cancer, lowering cholesterol, and helping control diabetes. Aronia berries, also known as a chokeberry, are used for juice, jelly, wine, and additions for both color and flavor to yogurt, sauces and an endless variety of other food products.
